The North Coast of Honduras is a sultry, steaming and humid mixture of dancing, sun worshipping, beach going, and culinary delights. Life happens quick and colorful on the North Coast. However, in contrast, it is home to some of the most beautiful flora, fauna, and natural wonders one could ever hope to lay eyes on. It is simply breathtakingly beautiful. La Ceiba is Honduras's third largest city and it sits nestled on the Caribbean coast between here and there, and not far from La Ceiba is one of Honduras's truly beautiful natural wonders, Pico Bonito National Park.
Unfortunately, the SD card I was using for my photographs in La Ceiba decided to misfire and I lost so many very nice photographs. I only have a select few from my time there and therefore can only share a small portion of what I photographed. Still, it remains a beautiful experience and memory. So for now enjoy some flora and fauna from Pico Bonito National Park and the Port of La Ceiba.
Tomorrow we hop on a ferry and head to the Bay Island of Utila.
